Privacy policy

CostNaked is operated by KM TECH LABS ("we", "us"), the data controller for this service. This policy explains what we process, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What stays on your device

The free calculator runs entirely in your browser. Subscription names, prices and totals are stored in your browser's local storage and are never transmitted to us.

What we process when you create an account

• Your email address and login credentials, to give you access to your account (legal basis: contract).
• Subscription rows and saved snapshots you choose to sync, so Pro works across your devices (contract).
• Subscription status and billing identifiers received from Stripe, to grant Pro access (contract).
• Security and error logs, kept briefly to keep the service safe and working (legitimate interest).

Processors we use

Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., which acts as an independent controller for payment data — we never receive your full card details. Hosting, database and authentication are provided by our infrastructure providers under data processing agreements. We do not sell your data and do not use it to train AI models; the calculator uses no AI at all.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted within 30 days of deletion, except records we must keep for accounting and tax purposes (normally up to five years).

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. Use the privacy request option inside your account settings to exercise these rights; we respond within one month.

Transfers and security

Where data is processed outside the EEA, transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. All traffic is encrypted in transit, and account data is access-controlled per user.
